Stop-Motion Animation

Card One AND Card Two should look like this!

Make a new stack.

Draw a stick figure on the card.

COPY the card and PASTE

so you have TWO identical cards.

My changes to Card TWO
My changes to Card TWO

NOW... Go to Card TWO

and make some changes.

I used the Lasso Tool to move the hands and feet

so it looks like a kind of Jumping Jack exercise.

Now to TEST the movement...

You can use the Command Key

(Open Apple Key... You know the one!)

Hold it down and tap the > key... over and over again...

This will move you through the cards...

you will see the motion...

Then go back and make an animation button so the figure can move at a set speed... and move... and flip... LOL!

(There will be LOTS more about animation in other posts!)

I am trying this... but... if this does not work and you want to see this actually move... send me a note and I will email it to you!

... and then if you REALLY want to get inspired... check out THIS example.

It is an AMAZING animation! It was made by Aardman Animations on a beach in Wales... real people, real beach!

GULP!

Open Curtain!

A dramatic way to start a presentation or story is with an "Opening Curtain" card(s). Here is how you do it...

1. Make a new stack.

2. Paint a stage... (easy way... Dump a color on the card, Put a white rectangle in the lower center area.. (go back and make it fancy later).

3. Copy the card and PASTE the card... now you have a 2-card stack with exactly the same images on both cards.

-----

Go back to the first card

a. flood the white area with a "curtain color or pattern."

b. Make a new button.

c. Make the button "Go to next card... transition: Barn Door

-----

Change to the Hand/Browse Tool and click on the button to check it out!

Also try Transition: Wipe Up

Then...

Make the button TRANSPARENT... and on a timer... and... and...

And then go back and have fun!
